The Goose Behind the Oven

I grew baking with my grandma and my mom, and it quickly became my favorite hobby. From the start I loved experimenting with new recipes, especially when life got stressfull. When my heart horse suddenly passed, I poured that time and love into the kitchen. At that time I was pursuing a career in neuropsychology, hoping to make an impact on peoples lives. But I realized I could make a difference now, and hopeful a more impactful one, through community connection, and raising awareness for causes that matter. Silly Goose Bakery became the bridge between two dreams; pursuing my passion of baking while spreading awareness and starting meanigful conversations.

Our Philosophy

Family First

Silly Goose Bakery started with family, and rooted in the belief that connection matters. I Want to bring people closer over a plate of treats, and open the door to meaningful conversations.

Make a Bigger Difference on A Smaller Scale

Each month, Silly Goose Bakery supports a charity that has a personal connection or supports the community in someway. While also starting conversations about the specified charity.

50% of all profits go directly to that organization, and 100% of profits from the monthly special flavors are donated as well.

It’s a small bakery with a big heart — and every purchase helps make an impact.

September is National Suicide Awareness Month, a reminder that mental health affects many individuals, families, and communities. Suicide is often surrounded by silence, but awareness helps break that silence and encourages people to reach out, connect, and feel seen. Suicide is also complex, but research shows that open conversation, early support, and accessible mental health resources can reduce risk. Most people who struggle with suicidal thoughts do not want to die, they want relief from emotional pain. Talking about suicide does not increase risk; it increases safety, connection, and understanding. Awareness helps communities recognize warning signs, reduce stigma, and support individuals before a crisis occurs.

This month, Silly Goose Bakery will be donating 50% of profits from regular flavors and 100% of profits from special flavors to NAMI Chippewa Valley.
